My friend's daughter saw the Eliasson exhibition when she was 10 years old. He's still one of her favorite artists.
Thanks to all my cool co-workers for the inspiration and education that the DMA provides. When you can get a 10 year old engaged enough through your exhibitions that she has a favorite modern artist that no other 10 year old has ever heard of, that means you're doing it right! :) :)

Congratulations Sandra! I am sure this was a great experience absolutely positive for you, both personal and professional!

In my opinion, is a great experience for a young professional to have this kind of opportunities, exchanging knowledge and understanding better how a museum works, in Europe and in States.

When professionals of the cultural field from Europe think about museums, we allways look for referents in USA because the developed ideas are more innovative.

I don't know how different can be about curating, but for sure concepts like "visitor experience" or "community engagement", which are my interest, are for sure more developed in USA.

I am currently applying for an Internship at the DMA.. let's see if I am as succesfull as you!
Best luck in your carrer!
